Graduation Requirements

Grading & Credits

Grades are determined by the quality of work done in each subject and on the completion of work.  Each assignment has a designated credit value.  Predetermined credit will be awarded with a grade when all work assigned is completed and the related test(s) is/are passed with a 70% grade or higher.

Level Policy

Students will be assigned a level at the end of every three-week grading period.  To earn  “Level one” status-students must earn at least 3 credits a week or a total of 9 credits for the grading period and have 90% actual attendance.  To earn  “Level two” status-students must earn at least 2 credits a week or a total of 6 credits for the grading period and have 90% actual attendance.  If a student has anything less than two credits a week or a total of 6 credits for the grading period and/or less than 90% attendance they will automatically be on a “Level three” status which is a probationary level which gives the student one three week grading period or cycle to get back and earn level 1 or 2 status again.  If they don’t earn at least 6 credits during this probationary grading period they will be enrolled into the PM program and will stay at school for both the AM and PM sessions which means they would start their school day at 8:01 am and end at 3:00 pm.  This would continue for the entire subsequent three-week grading period. (Students may use level 3 probation only once per semester).
