Please read the following statement from the Superintendent, Donna Alley.

Yesterday, February 28, 2022, Governor Newsom and Dr. Mark Ghaly (state health department) provided an update on the masking protocols as it pertains to public schools and school districts. As of March 12th, students and staff will no longer be required to wear a face-covering indoors. This applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
The state does still strongly recommend masking at schools but leaves that up to local jurisdictions (i.e. county health departments, school districts). MCDPH has confirmed they will not require masks in schools.

LGUHSD will be dropping the mask mandate effective March 12th. Those who wish to continue to wear a mask may do so, and we encourage them to do so.

In an effort to generate additional revenue, the Le Grand Union High School District is looking at how to better utilize many of its assets. Therefore, the District is currently forming what is referred to as a "7-11 Committee." If you would like to participate and are qualified, we invite you to apply to be a member of the Committee.

The Board of Trustees of the Le Grand Union High School District will hold a public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting on September 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria, located at 12961 E. Le Grand Road, Le Grand, Calif omia. The purpose of the hearing will be to detail the extent to which sufficient textbooks and instructional materials are provided to all students, in compliance with Education code Section 60119. Parent, teacher, members of the community and bargaining unit members are encouraged to participate.
